A Special Place for Bright, Curious Students
Small Class Sizes
Our class sizes are intentionally small so that each student is known, supported, and encouraged. With 8 students per class in lower grades and 12 in our middle school classes, Chronos students build strong bonds with their teachers and classmates. Each student is valued for their contributions and individuality.
Innovative Curriculum
We designed our curriculum to help kids create a meaningful context for everything that they learn. As they move through the weeks of the school year, they’re moving forward through time — so they can see how history and innovation have progressed. Our approach is fun, creative, and lets every student learn at their own pace.
Hands-On Learning
We believe in hands on creation, innovation, and fun. Our students have time every day to build skills in the Maker Workshop. Each week, they focus on a Maker project related to their studies and use real tools to build it! We also incorporate movement, sign language, and dance into our work to strengthen the connections they’re forming.
To find their potential, gifted students must learn without limits in a safe, nurturing school where it’s not only OK to stand out, it’s celebrated.
Making History
At Chronos, our students take a journey through time, connecting every subject — music, art, math, language arts, and technological advancement — to a chronological timeline. Over the course of each school year, our students build a comprehensive historical context for everything they learn.
Every day, our students head to the Maker Workshop to work on hands-on projects related to their unit of study. They learn woodworking, electronics, handcrafting, and more through engaging Maker projects.
