Affordability and Indexed Tuition

Indexed tuition enables families from a variety of economic backgrounds to join our community. Indexed tuition is available thanks to the generous donors of Golden Gate Learning Foundation. The term indexed tuition refers to the amount of annual tuition a family qualifies to pay after completing the Clarity application.

We know that choosing an independent school education is an investment of both time and resources. Every family who attends Chronos Academy has the opportunity to enroll with a tuition level that fits their financial circumstances.

We use the Clarity Application to determine each family’s Indexed Tuition level and ability to pay. If you are wondering whether you might qualify to pay below the top of the index, please apply through Clarity with school code 8432.

Note: Please pay close attention to emails from Chronos and Clarity after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as you may be required to upload additional tax documentation.

Chronos Academy relies on Clarity’s application, supporting documents, and our Indexed Tuition policies to determine each applicant’s tuition indexing level. Many factors are considered when determining a grant amount, including income, assets, liabilities, family size, age of parents, tuition obligations (preschool, grade school, and college), and more. Each year, we receive requests in excess of available funds, which come entirely from donations to our nonprofit.
